Silkscreen printing is an independent form of artistic production. Each work is created вручную using stencil-based printing techniques.
Collectible silkscreens are produced in strictly limited editions. Every piece passes through the artist’s hands, features slight variations, and is accompanied by a signature and edition number.
Within art history, silkscreen became widely recognized through the Pop Art movement of the 1960s, most notably in the work of Andy Warhol.
Masha Yankovskaya’s silkscreens are prints derived from her original graphic and painterly works, created to multiply imagery and amplify the artist’s visual statement.
